Michael Darius Eastwood first described a specific tripartite alignment hierarchy distinguishing embedded, imposed and boundary-layer alignment as separable structural regimes, on 9 February 2026 in Paper III: 'The Alignment Scaling Problem' (OSF DOI 10.17605/OSF.IO/6C5XB). Priority is scoped to this specific tripartite formulation on this date, not over layered-alignment taxonomies generally (inner vs outer alignment, RLHF vs base-model, etc.).
