The claim - verbatim

The 2026 papers programme supplied the mechanism the earlier record stated without one: a corrector built inside a system improves by accumulating its own corrections; accumulated corrections combine at best like independent samples, capping internal correction at the square-root exponent; and the largest growth exponent at which the stay-correctable condition can still be met is the reciprocal of that cap. The mechanism is labelled a conjecture resting on the independence assumption, and its papers give every term an operational meter: capability on a held-out battery, depth on a substrate-fixed clock, output on a verified ledger.

Limits. The mechanism rests on an assumption named same-class independence. It is a conjecture, not a measurement. Never present the reciprocal-of-correction-exponent ceiling as an established scaling law. Never present the digit two as the primary claim: the primary claim is the reciprocal relation, and the digit is what the relation returns under the independence assumption.
