Michael Darius Eastwood is a researcher, author and builder. He founded Recursive Dynamics, the field studying how self-improving systems grow, correct and persist, and runs its ARC and Eden programme, with his own experiments on six models from six providers. He wrote Infinite Architects (2 January 2026). Before this he founded and led Mastermind Promotion, a music public relations business.

The research is the core: the ARC Theory's five laws under test, the theory registration of 8 September 2026, and Unit 83, the programme's first registered study to reach a verdict. He holds a Bachelor of Arts with Honours in Digital Music and works without an institution, a doctorate or an academic post; he is director of Recursive Dynamics Ltd (company 17532305, incorporated in England and Wales on 21 October 2026).
The engineering sits beside it. Eden Legal AI is a legal working environment for source-linked records, document preparation and checking. Eden Control checks named agent actions and keeps a best-effort record of what happened. Both hosted apps are in private beta. Eden Research is the trading name of Recursive Dynamics Ltd. Working software does not prove a scientific hypothesis, and the book's wider argument is not an empirical result.
Two decades building systems in the music industry taught him how recursive amplification behaves in the wild, and his clients reached Rolling Stone, The Times and the BBC. He built the Mastermind brand from 2006, trading first as a sole trader.
