What is Michael Darius Eastwood's potential discovery?
A claim this large should cost its author something if it is wrong. This one does: every part of it is dated, measured, registered for measurement, or labelled a conjecture, and the register that could kill it is public.

One accumulation law, two consequences: the correction ceiling and the conversion exponent of U = I × Rα. An earlier framing that treated the two as one constant tested by measuring it two independent ways and requiring agreement is withdrawn as vacuous, before filing; the cross-class correction-exponent ratio on the falsification register carries the falsification burden instead.

The lineage is dated: the general form U = I × R appears in the 8 December 2024 self-emailed manuscript; the squared form first appears in the 30 April 2025 self-emailed manuscript of the book; the print of 2 January 2026 carries it as the stated equation and as Prediction 1; the joined statement was published on 9 August 2026. It is labelled a potential discovery because it is falsifiable and not yet measured: the value rests on one conjecture, the measured exponent today is 0.49, far inside the proposed ceiling, and the deciding tests are filed in advance. If the conjecture fails, the ceiling moves with it, and the record shows the structure was predicted either way.
