Every creation story must answer a single question: what caused the first cause? This paper proposes a fourth answer, alongside God, an eternal universe, and quantum self causation. It is offered as an explicitly speculative philosophical hypothesis, not as an empirical claim, and it can only fail as a productive framing, not as a testable physical theory.
Traditional cosmologies bottom out somewhere. Theism proposes an uncaused first cause. Steady state proposes an eternal universe. Quantum models propose a self causing fluctuation. The simulation hypothesis proposes a base reality containing the computer running our simulation, which itself must be explained. HRIH asks whether a recursive definition of universe creating intelligence eliminates the first cause problem entirely, by refusing to have a first iteration. The chain is: intelligence creates universes; universes evolve intelligence; intelligence creates more universes.
Because HRIH is not an empirical paper, "what it found" is a philosophical distinction. It argues that the proposed cosmology is structurally different from the simulation hypothesis (Bostrom 2003), from the Omega Point (Tipler 1994, Teilhard 1955), and from conformal cyclic cosmology (Penrose 2010). The simulation hypothesis needs a base reality. HRIH does not, because recursion has no bottom level. The Omega Point sits at the end of cosmic time. HRIH's creation is continuous. Conformal cyclic cosmology is geometry only, with no agency. HRIH places recursive intelligence at the centre. The claim of originality is a specific synthesis: recursion as first cause replacement, hyperspace as operational substrate, and post artificial superintelligence as agent, plus the timestamp 8 December 2024. HRIH cannot fail in the empirical sense, because it is not an empirical paper. This is what the paper itself acknowledges, and it is what the reader should hold it to. The correct open question is not "is it true" but "is it a productive philosophical frame, or an evasion of the first cause problem dressed as a solution?" The paper's own scope box says the hypothesis is offered for debate, not for proof. The formal object it uses is a conceptual placeholder, not a derived physical equation. The claim that hyperspace exists is presented as unverifiable with current or foreseeable technology. HRIH earns credibility only if the empirical work it motivated stands on its own, which the author designs it to do.
HRIH is the philosophical parent of the empirical programme, not its foundation. The falsifiable results (the beta greater than k co scaling condition, the sign flip finding under blinding, the alignment scaling measurements) do not depend on HRIH. A reader may accept the beta greater than k criterion while dismissing the cosmology, and the reverse. The equation family U = I × R appears in the 8 December 2024 manuscript alongside the earliest HRIH sketch; Papers I and II later formalise this as U = I × R^alpha. HRIH is the framing document, not the load bearing structure.

The priority claim (that this specific synthesis of recursion, hyperspace, and post artificial superintelligence as universe creator was articulated on 8 December 2024) is verifiable directly. The self emailed .eml is downloadable, its SHA-256 hash is published, and the message is Google-server-timestamped via Gmail Message-ID; DKIM verified in transit. What cannot be checked is whether the hypothesis is true. HRIH does not ask you to believe it. It asks whether the single conceptual move at its centre, that recursion replaces first cause, is productive.
