Why it is in the register

The programme's acoustic time crystal test code, committed in March 2026, modelled parametrically driven acoustic systems and predicted saturating scaling of the subharmonic order parameter under bounded composition. In June 2026, Wu and colleagues published the first experimental dispersive phononic time crystals in Nature Communications, with band folding and subharmonic amplification: the system class the code had modelled three months earlier.

The honest caveat

The prediction is narrow and the gap is short, so the row is graded moderate. It is retained because the code is timestamped in version control and the paper is unambiguous.
