I Don't Ask You to Trust Me

Every original claim in this programme is self-timestamped through Google's servers before publication. You can verify any claim independently — you don't need my word, my reputation, or my CV. You need the cryptographic evidence. Here it is.

How Research Priority Is Usually Established

Conventional Approach

  • Publish in a journal — wait 6–18 months for peer review
  • Present at a conference — hope someone remembers
  • Post on arXiv — timestamp exists but anyone can post anything
  • Trust the researcher's word about when they had the idea
  • Rely on institutional affiliation for credibility

This Programme's Approach

  • Email the complete manuscript to yourself through Google's servers
  • Google sets the Date header at the moment of processing — cannot be backdated
  • The Message-ID with @mail.gmail.com proves the routing path
  • The email body explicitly states the purpose: timestamp + copyright
  • Any observer can open the .eml file and verify the headers independently
  • Two timestamp packages create a verifiable chain (Dec 8, 2024 → Apr 30, 2025)

The methodology IS the claim

This is not a footnote about priority. It is the central methodology of the entire research programme. The Eden Protocol — embedding values at the substrate level rather than imposing them externally — is exactly what the self-timestamping does for intellectual property: embed the verification at the moment of creation, not after the fact.

The blinding methodology in Papers IV.a–d applies the same principle to AI evaluation: remove the ability to trust identity, force reliance on evidence. The evidence spine applies it to public claims: every assertion resolves to a source. The truth gate applies it to publication: nothing ships without verification.

The same instinct produced all of them: don't trust. verify.

Why this matters for funding

When you evaluate a research proposal, you are betting on the researcher's ability to identify real problems before the field confirms them. The December 8, 2024 timestamp is direct evidence of that ability: a specific, falsifiable prediction — "AI systems cannot be truly controlled. They will evolve beyond any safeguards we put in place" — documented ten days before a major lab confirmed the structural vulnerability.

You don't need to assess my potential. You can inspect my track record. The track record is cryptographically timestamped and independently verifiable. That is the strongest possible argument for funding the next phase.

Verify for Yourself

Inspect the .eml headers. Read the manuscript attachments. Check the line references. Four independent research lanes have already done this and reached the same conclusions.
